Corvette Z06

Next to Nissan's almighty GT-R, the Corvette ZO6 is the major bang for the buck. The Z06 might be playing second banana to it's bigger ZR1 brother. The Z06 also delivers major performance. Okay, i'm gonna give a detailed review of this car. Every American car fan is lusting after the ZR1 right now but in order to do that, you need to sell your house, raid the children's college funds, put Grandma on the street, then you'll get to buy the ZR1.

Exterior:
I'd be a freaking dumbass if I said that the Z06 wasn't cool looking. Every single Corvette is cool. It has this sport car look. It's just different from others.Maybe it's because of the new quad exhausts that have butterfly valves in it. The noise is just amazing. And it's coming from that cool V8 up front.

Interior:
Even though the car is totally cool. The interior is a bit of a let down. It's better than the obvious Dodge Viper competitor. At least it has leather seats, a Bose 9 speaker sound system, a SatNav system. There is a lot of plastic in the interior. But then the car is cheap. The seats are fixed-backed buckets, that actually manage to hug you tight in the corners. The head-up display is extremely cool. And useful.

Performance:
The Z06 does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. And it's top speed is as near as makes no difference, 200 miles an hour. Chevrolet actually got a Z06 around the 'Ring in 7:40 seconds. It's brakes are good as well, pulling it to a stop from 60 in 105 feet. The Corvette managed 0.92 sideways G-force in the skidpad. The 'Vette is really good on the track.

Everyday Usability
The Corvette sadly, is as bad as it is on the road as it is good on the track. The din from those Goodyear Eagle tyres is unbearable. You can't hear anything. It's a nightmare. Although, if this problem was fixed, the Corvette would be an excellent daily driver.

And that concludes my review.

No. 1

As you have noticed, this will be the Number 1 car. Because I don't think the Ultimate Aero SSC has the credentials to compete with this car. The Veyron was built not only to break records but to show the world what can be done in car engineering. The Veyron will do 254mph and it does 60 in 2.6 seconds.

No. 2 Again

Koenigsegg CCX- This has a better R version. But theres only 6 in the world. So the CCX takes it's place. The car will crack 250. And that's extremely close to the Veyron. And 2.9 seconds to 60. Just when you thought the best thing to come out of Sweden was Volvo...

No. 2

McLaren F1- McLaren is a Formula 1 competitor. It has made 2 road cars. Both of which appeared on this list. What does that tell you? The F1 was built way back in the 90s. But it's still so fast. 240 mph top speed. And 3 seconds to 60.

No. 3

Gumpert Apollo
This new piece of engineering is quite cool. The Gumpert guys took an Audi engine and worked wonders with it. It may be ugly, but that body is to make sure that the car stays on the ground when you're doing 230. And it also can do 0-60 in 3.3 seconds.

No. 4

Ferrari Enzo
The Enzo is the limited edition Ferrari which blows people's minds. It's a masterpiece. Is there anything more to say? 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. 219 mph top speed. Wow...

No. 5

Pagani Zonda F Roadster
The F roadster is the insane version of the already very insane Zonda. It cost 800 thousand pounds and does everything quickly. 3.5 seconds to sixty and 217 mph max speed. The Zonda is weird. And everybody loves it.

No. 6

Maserati MC12
This car was based on the Enzo hypercar. All aluminum and carbon fiber body. And the same engine as the Enzo. I'm not sure about the aero dynamics but this car goes from standstill to sixty in 3.6 seconds. And it's peak is at 215 mph. The Maserati is many things, but it is by no means, a compromise.

No. 7

Ford GT
This American made relic is based on the Le Mans winning GT40 from yesteryear. Some people may not agree. But I think it is seriously quick. 0-60 takes 3.7 seconds and it hits 212mph. The funny thing is, it only costs as much as a Ferrari F430.

No. 8

Lamborghini Reventon.
This is a really exclusive car. 21 units were produced and one sits in the Lamborghini museum. It was based on the Lamborghini Murcielago and the F-22 Raptor. It can do 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and it will do 209 mph. Oh yeah. It's another one of those user friendly hypercars.

No. 9

Mercedes Benz McLaren SLR
It is the understated hypercar. Belongs in a world of glamor and glitz. The cars hand-built 5.4 liter supercharged V8 propels it from 0-60 in 3.8 seconds. And it maxes out at 208 mph. The SLR is the easy hypercar. Go for it.

No. 10

Porsche Carrera GT.
It is the fastest, most focused, most beautiful Porsche ever built. Built in 2003, the Carrera GT has a 5.7 liter V10. It can go from 0-60 in 3.8 seconds. It rides a tidal wave 206 mph top speed.

Top 10 Fastest Cars

Hey guys, I'll be writing about the cars I think are the fastest.

Nissan GT-R V-Spec- Spec'ed up

The rumours of an already impressive as standard Nissan GT-R are confirmed. The more divine version of the Godzilla is gonna lap the Nurburgring faster than a Corvette ZR1. Acceleration to 60 is gonna be in the low 3 seconds. The V-Spec has many import fans salivating. Me, not so much. But, I can't wait for the GT-R to try and lap the 'Ring faster than the ACR Viper. The V-Spec will be a total phenom. When it you see it parked next the the Enzo hypercar, it almost pales in comparison. But you'll never know that it is faster than the million dollar Ferrari. Wow. Thank you Japan. We salute you.

Audi R8 V10- New, Bad And Pumped Up

The new Audi R8 sports car. It has always been purpose built as a everyday, user-friendly supercar. The R8 V10 was originally supposed to be fitted with the same 5 liter twin turbo 572hp engine as the RS6 estate. However, one prototype overheated and exploded at the 'Ring. It was not meant to be. So Audi opted for an all new 5 liter naturally aspirated V10. It produces 500 horsepowers. It may not be as fast as the Gallardo 560-4 but it was never supposed to be compared. The Gallardo also is 50 thousand pounds more expensive. I've always been a fan. Ever since I first laid my eyes on the LeMans Quattro concept in NFS Carbon. The new R8 would eat a Porsche 911 Turbo. It tops out at 200. It's on the tail of the 911 GT2 997. Wonderful all round visibility, comfortable seats, and a very spacious cabin. Practicality, not so much. But that won 't matter to you, because you've got an Audi R8.

Aston Martin DBS- Is It Just A DB9 In Drag?

Over the past few months, there has been a lot of controversy going on over the new halo Aston Martin vehicle, the DBS. The one featured in Casino Royale was just a DB9 with Mansory body kits. But is that what the new DBS is? Is it just a DB9 with a body kit or is it a completely different car. The engines in both cars are the same, albeit different power levels. But the DBS sports a new, redesigned centre console, which confuses me. A poxy new ECU. That's a acronym for a crappy key substitute which is not as good as a regular key. Which costs 20 grand to replace if you lose one. But here's the good stuff. New Bilstein shock absorbers which give the car a better ride quality. New 398mm carbon ceramic brakes. A new lightweight Aluminum/Carbon Fiber body shell. Better steering. And finally a new Limited Slip Differential. Is all this stuff worth a 50 thousand pound premium over a regular DB9 Sportspack. And is it faster than the old Vanq S? No. But all these things make it a totally different car. But if it was me buying one, I'll just save money and buy a regular DB9.

Honda NSX Type-R- The Renegade Honda

Sure. The engine of this car is raced tuned to give around 300 horsepower, the suspension stiffened, the brakes strengthened, but no matter how much Honda fiddles with the mid-engined NSX, it was never a Ferrari. Sure. Some people hate me on Youtube for saying that the Godzilla Nissan GT-R is better than this silly contraption. The NSX-R was priced at 70 Grand each back in 2003. One question: WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WILL PAY THAT MUCH FOR A HONDA? It absolutely didn't make any sense at all. It may have lapped the Norscheleife in under 8 minutes, but a Skyline 34 managed the same feat. If I were a customer in that time, I would say, Honda, move on. Step away from the NSX. It was a complete failure.

Dodge Viper SRT-10- Yank Tank Monster

The SRT-10 Viper is now a full-on supercar. It has a really cool front end. And really horrid rear end. But the descendant of the truck V10 is too much. It displaces 8400cc. That can be used to shelter 17 people in case of a nuclear holocaust. The Viper is an All-American. The Dodge boys did a good job with the exterior styling. But once you press down the door handle of the car, you feel nauseous. Dodge says that the SRT-10's interior is purpose built. Ferrari make purpose built interiors as well but not one from a futuristic Anne Hathaway's cottage. No! But the Viper has everything somebody will lust after. The Dodge Viper is a great car for street racing as 600hp comes as low as 85 grand. The Dodge Viper may not have the characteristics of a Porsche, but it's one of my favorites nonetheless.

Lamborghini Murcielago LP640- Past, Present or Future?

For many years, Lamborghini has created machines that are mad and really flamboyant. The Murcielago retains everything that it predecessors have managed to perfect, and perfects everything they didn't. Scissor doors and large vents still remain. But the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 is different from Lambos that went before it, the Countach and the Diablo. Sure, many more people opt for obvious competitors like the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, or the slower but beautiful Aston Martin DBS. Maybe even the baby Gallardo. But nothing beats the raw simplicity, that Lamborghini has incorporated into the Murcie.
